We Are The In Crowd

                                                        (18th April 2012 - Glasgow QMU)
Once again, we were excited to be able to gain a photo pass for We Are The In Crowd’s latest gig in Glasgow at the QMU. It was a night to be remembered, the support acts were explosive and We Are The in Crowd set the place on fire... not literally, silly.

The QMU holds around 900 people, and the place was absolutely packed. As the venue started to fill up, Super Prime - a 3 piece pop punk band from Massachusetts - took to the stage and blew everyone away with their sound. By the end of their set, the crowd were more than ready for The Summer Set to rock the stage. The Summer Set are a pop-rock band from Arizona who've been to Glasgow a couple times now. Managing to build up a fan base, the band were welcomed by the entire crowd, I think there were actually people there just to see them. Performing songs from both 'Love Like This’ and their most recent album 'Everything’s Fine' they had the crowd in the palm of their hand. Two of the band's most popular songs, ‘The Boys You Do’ and ‘Chelsea’ had everyone jumping and screaming along, making the night unforgetable already, and We Are The in Crowd hadn't even performed yet.

Headliners We Are The In Crowd wandered on to the stage, opening with ‘Rumour Mill’. And as soon as front girl Tay started singing, the crowd went crazy. After playing a mix of songs, Brian Dales from The Summer Set joined the band on stage to help out with the vocals on ‘Kiss Me Again’, one of the most memorable songs of the night. As the night progressed, the buzz coming from the crowd just got more and more intense. Fans sang along with almost every song and when the band went on to perform 'For The Win' and 'Never Be What You Want' everything got very crazy very fast. You could see the band knew how wild the crowd was, as they themselves seemed to be having a great time.

As the night came to an end, Tay and Jordan performed 'You've Got it Made' acoustically. Everyone seemed to be very into it, and Tay shed a tear as the crowd sang along with her. It was beautiful. Finishing with 'Both Sides of The Story' the crowd roared and cheered for more. But sadly the band had to get going.

This truly was a night to be remembered, and I'm sure We Are The in Crowd feel the same way. If you haven’t heard of any of these bands them we hope you'll check them out.
